Perfectly situated in North Cornwall with easy access to both the North and South Coasts, is our beautiful campsite with only 30 pitches exclusively for tents to choose from, we also have a small number of letting units for those who prefer not to camp. The campsite sits in a quiet, tucked away location whilst being just a few minutes’ drive from the A30 and the former County town of Bodmin. Running alongside the campsite is a delightful stream which leads into the Camel River, we are and a short walk to the Camel cycle trail (as featured on Country File) which is perfect for cyclists on a scenic route to nearby Wadebridge where you can get a freshly made ice cream before continuing along the trail to Padstow where you will find the Harbour which is perfect for crabbing and you will be able to visit one of the many pubs to enjoy refreshment and refuel with a famous Cornish Pasty.
The campsite is only a mile away from Bodmin, which has a wide selection of amenities including supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, cycle hire and the newly refurbished attraction of Bodmin Jail. The Eden Project and Lanhydrock House are a fifteen minute drive respectively. We are also in a great location to explore both the North and South Coasts, which has many bays for swimming , bodyboarding and surfing alike. If it is walking and hiking you enjoy we are within easy reach of the famous “The Saints’ Way”.
On site we bake our own pastries and bread in the mornings that our guests can order, we also have weekly wood fired pizza nights in July and August which are enjoyed by all.
Dogs are welcome.
We are the perfect place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
This season we have also decided not to increase prices for high season, keeping them the same as out of high season prices, which we hope will be helpful for our customers with children who have to visit during the school holidays.
A site for lovers of open fields and big skies.
